Accessibility Statement
Compliance Defense Group's commitment to WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance.
Last updated: May 2026
Our Commitment
Compliance Defense Group is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to people with disabilities. As an ADA website compliance firm, we hold ourselves to the same standard we advocate for our clients. We actively work to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and strive to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing effort — not a one-time checkbox. We continuously review and improve our website's accessibility as standards evolve and as we identify areas for improvement.
Conformance Status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to bring all content into full conformance and document our progress.
Our target conformance level is WCAG 2.1 Level AA across all pages and user flows, including all forms, navigation, and interactive components.
Technical Specifications
This website relies on the following technologies for conformance with WCAG 2.1:
- HTML5 (semantic markup throughout)
- CSS3 (Flexbox and Grid for layout — no table-based layouts)
- JavaScript (ES6+, progressive enhancement)
- WAI-ARIA (where native HTML semantics are insufficient)
The website has been tested with the following assistive technologies:
- NVDA screen reader with Google Chrome (Windows)
- VoiceOver screen reader with Safari (macOS and iOS)
- Keyboard-only navigation (no mouse)
- Browser zoom up to 200% (no horizontal scrolling)
- Windows High Contrast Mode
- Reduced Motion (OS-level prefers-reduced-motion setting)
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Calendly scheduling widget: The third-party Calendly embed on the Contact page may have limited keyboard and screen reader accessibility. We are monitoring Calendly's accessibility improvements and will update our implementation accordingly. An accessible alternative — the contact form on the same page — is available at all times.
- Older PDF documents: Some downloadable documents may not be fully tagged for screen reader use. We are progressively updating these documents. To request an accessible version of any document, please contact us using the information below.
Assessment Approach
Compliance Defense Group assesses the accessibility of this website through the following approaches:
- Self-evaluation using automated scanning tools (WAVE, axe, Lighthouse)
- Manual keyboard navigation testing of all interactive elements and user flows
- Screen reader testing using NVDA + Chrome and VoiceOver + Safari
- Professional review against WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria
- Periodic re-evaluation as content is added or updated
